2018 US MID-TERM ELECTIONS :
Result analysis, policy debate and transatlantic impacts.
Tuesday November 6 will be a significant political milestone in the United States with the US mid-term elections marking the middle of Republican President Donald J. Trump’s first term. All 435 seats at the United States House of Representatives and 35 of the 100 seats in the United States Senate will be contested. In additional 39 states and territorial governorships as well as numerous other states and local elections will also be contested.
The mid-term elections, taking place in a very polarized context, are complex as administered by the individual states and local governments instead by the national or federal level. To help us better understand the results and the US political and international geopolitical implications of these elections, we organise a BIPARTISAN POST-ELECTORAL PANEL CONFERENCE the following week, on November 13.
This conference will be held in English only and will be followed by a “transatlantic” networking cocktail !
